Vinyl Records

Music was once something you could hold in your hands and that time has come around again. Vinyl records are making a serious comeback. People like the rich sound that comes from a record player—something you just don’t get with digital tunes. It’s a whole experience from start to finish. And let’s be honest, it’s cool to see your favorite albums spinning on a turntable.
Polaroid Cameras

Even though we take photos non-stop, most end up lost in the digital void and that’s why Polaroid cameras are coming back. Click, print & bam—you’ve got a memory in your hand that’s not going anywhere. There’s a real thrill in watching that photo slowly come to life right before your eyes. In fact, it feels like a little bit of magic!

Typewriters

There’s something about clacking away on a typewriter that feels so…intentional. Maybe it’s the sound of the keys or maybe it’s because you really have to mean what you type since backspacing isn’t a thing. Either way, typewriters are making a comeback. Many people want a more realistic writing experience.
Arcade Machines

Those days of hanging out at the arcade are also returning. However, with a bit of a change—the classic machines have found new homes in bars & basements. Even some trendy workplaces have them! People like the sense of communal fun & excitement of trying to beat the high score with a crowd cheering you on.
CRT TVs

Flat screens are everywhere but there’s a small but dedicated group bringing back CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TVs. In particular, gamers love them for retro gaming. Why? Because the graphics of old-school games just look more authentic on a CRT & the feeling of nostalgia is rather compelling, too.
Handheld Gaming Consoles

Speaking of video games, handheld consoles from the past are also coming back into play. For example, the Game Boy or the Sega Game Gear give you a gaming experience that mobile games can’t match. Being able to hold one of those consoles in your hands & push physical buttons is a certain way to bring back memories—and create new ones.
Analog Clocks

You might be used to checking the time on your phones yet analog clocks have returned. There’s something far more human about reading an analog clock, something that makes you feel more connected to the flow of time. Plus, they’re a stylish addition to any room. They mix function & design in a way that digital displays just can’t match!
Film Projectors

While streaming services dominate movie nights, it might surprise you to learn that film projectors have made a comeback. It’s really magical watching a movie projected on a big screen—especially if it’s an old film reel. As such, you’ll see plenty of film enthusiasts & collectors leading the charge. Their movie nights feel like stepping back in time.
Non-Smart Phones (Feature Phones)

Many people are also switching back to non-smart phones, also known as “dumb phones.” These devices do the basics—call, text, maybe a game of Snake if you’re lucky—and that’s it. No distractions & no endless scrolling on social media. These dumb phones give people a chance to simplify their lives while staying connected.
Slide Projectors

Slide projectors have returned as well, although it’s not merely because of nostalgia. No, artists & photographers have rediscovered the beauty of projecting images on film along with the anticipation of each click. It’s a physical experience that’s something digital displays struggle to replicate.
Corded Landline Phones

It sounds surprising but corded landline phones are coming back because people appreciate how clear calls sound on them. There’s something nice about having to stay in one spot to talk on the phone. It makes you pay more attention to the conversation! And who doesn’t love playing with the phone cord while you’re talking?
