Hollywood has given us plenty of famous faces for many decades, and while some of the best-looking women are over 60 years old now, they still look incredible.
Three covers in a row

It was kind of hard to miss Christie Brinkley in the early 1980s. She was on the cover of Sports Illustrated for three years running, in 1979, 1980, and 1981, for one. Then she spent years afterward in CoverGirl ads and fashion magazines.Â
Brinkley is now 72 years old, and she’s also made her way into the movie world. You might recognize her from National Lampoon’s Vacation. Yes, she’s the woman driving the red Ferrari that Clark Griswold keeps noticing from the highway. It’s not exactly Shakespeare, but still.
From Barbarella to Grace and Frankie

Jane Fonda’s career has taken quite a few turns. She’s 88 years old now, and her film credits stretch back to the early 1960s, including her starring role in Barbarella. She also appeared in the workplace comedy 9 to 5 and on Golden Pond.
She also found another huge audience with the hit Netflix show Grace and Frankie. Between all that, she somehow managed to become one of the biggest names in home workout videos too, and still looks amazing.
A queen more than once

It’s kind of strange how much time Helen Mirren has spent around crowns. She won an Oscar for playing Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, but it turns out that wasn’t even her first royal job. She’d already played Elizabeth I on television. You might also recognize her as Jane Tennison from Prime Suspect, or from movies like Calendar Girls and Excalibur.
The 81-year-old actress has even appeared in the Fast & Furious series. That’s right, she’s been in action films as well as in Shakespeare and as British royalty. There’s basically nothing she can’t do.
A career with another big chapter

Demi Moore was in practically every major movie of the early 1990s. It started with Ghost, then came A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, and Disclosure. People still bring up her role in G.I. Jane because she shaved her head.
Moore hasn’t let her age stop her, though. She recently appeared in 2024’s The Substance, bagging her an Oscar nomination and her first Golden Globe win for an acting performance. She’s clear proof that age is just a number.
The woman Bill Murray kept meeting

Anyone who’s seen Groundhog Day will recognize Andie MacDowell. She played Rita, the television producer Bill Murray’s character keeps meeting. MacDowell started out modeling before moving into films, and she appeared opposite Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
What makes her really stand out is her South Carolina accent. It’s never disappeared. It’s actually given her a noticeably different sound from many actresses working in Hollywood, and at 68 years old, she’s still one-of-a-kind.
More than the famous beauty mark

It sounds strange, but magazines used to airbrush out Cindy Crawford’s beauty mark. It’s such a recognizable part of her look these days that it’s hard to imagine her without it. The 60-year-old model became one of the faces of the 1990s supermodel era.
She appeared in Vogue and major fashion campaigns, as well as international advertisements. Crawford’s career started as a teenager when she modeled in Illinois, but now she’s famous all around the world.Â
Comedy came with an Oscar

It’s thanks to Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In that Goldie Hawn first became so well-known. The comedy was silly and very late-1960s. But then she became a silver-screen actor and won an Academy Award for Cactus Flower.Â
Hawn went on to make Private Benjamin, Overboard, Death Becomes Her, and The First Wives Club. Funnily enough, she originally trained as a dancer, yet the 80-year-old has become a household name as an actress.
One movie changed everything

Bo Derek obviously didn’t invent braided hair. Still, her appearance in the 1979 comedy 10 sure did help to make that specific hairstyle famous around the world. She played Jenny Hanley in the film and appeared opposite Dudley Moore.
Derek later appeared in Tarzan, the Ape Man and Bolero, both directed by her husband, John Derek. You might be surprised to know that ‘Bo Derek’ is actually her stage name. The 69-year-old actress was born Mary Cathleen Collins in Long Beach, California.
French cinema’s familiar face

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg turned Catherine Deneuve into an international star practically overnight. Almost every line in the 1964 musical is sung, and that’s incredible enough. But Deneuve’s appearance as Geneviève was the real seller.
She appeared three years later in Luis Buñuel’s Belle de Jour, and has racked up credits with directors like François Truffaut and Roman Polanski, too. The 82-year-old actor might not have become a conventional Hollywood actress, but there’s no denying everyone recognizes her face.Â
A famous face in two industries

It’s no surprise that Isabella Rossellini ended up becoming a star, as she’s the daughter of famous actress Ingrid Bergman and director Roberto Rossellini. Even so, she managed to build a career for herself.Â
The now-74-year-old actress became a major Lancôme model in the 1980s while appearing in movies like Blue Velvet and Death Becomes Her. But it wasn’t until she was 72 years old that she earned her first Academy Award nomination for playing Sister Agnes in Conclave.
Daytime television royalty

Susan Lucci may have spent decades playing one woman, but it was one heck of a woman. She played the role of Erica Kane on All My Children and went through all kinds of drama. You name it, she did it, whether that’s romances, marriages, career changes, or family fights.
The 79-year-old actress became one of daytime television’s most recognizable stars for her role as Erica, and she racked up a long run of Emmy nominations, too. She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, Hot in Cleveland, Army Wives, and Devious Maids.Â
The new angel who stayed

It definitely wouldn’t have been easy replacing Farrah Fawcett on Charlie’s Angels. But Cheryl Ladd managed to do it. It could’ve easily been a single-season role as Kris Munroe, yet Ladd played the role right until the show’s end, almost five years later.
Some of her later credits include Purple Hearts and Millennium. She’s not just a one-trick pony, however, as the 75-year-old also had a music career along the way. What an amazing woman.
Wonder Woman before the movies

Wonder Woman still looks like Lynda Carter for a lot of people, even though she was 24 when the TV series first aired, and she’s now 75. She stayed with the show from 1975 through to 1979. It wasn’t exactly her first time being noticed, though.
Carter had already been crowned Miss World USA in 1972 and had a background as a singer, too. She even had a cameo appearance in 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984. She still looked like Wonder Woman, through and through, all those years later.
From modeling to an Oscar

Kim Basinger’s career is a Hollywood story in itself. She began by modeling in New York, and then appeared in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again. But that’s not all. She also appeared in Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989 and in 1997’s L.A. Confidential as Lynn Bracken.
Her role as Lynn actually bagged her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Not bad for someone who started out posing for magazine ads. She’s now 72 years old.
Rock’s unmistakable voice

Stevie Nicks has such a recognizable voice that you only need to hear a few seconds to know it’s her. She joined Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey Buckingham in 1975 and created masterpieces such as ‘Dreams’ and ‘Rhiannon.’Â
Nicks launched her solo career with Bella Donna in 1981 and went on to enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice. The 78-year-old singer actually became the first woman inducted both with a band and as a solo artist.

The 15 most hated actors in Hollywood history

Some actors receive hate after criminal cases, some receive it after the things they’ve said, and as for others, it’s because they took on a role that went very badly.
