Birthday Parties at the Pizza Place

The pizza was kind of cold, the lighting was terrible, & nobody cared. It was noisy, messy, full of cheap plastic prizes, and you probably had a party hat sitting crooked on your head. One kid always won on the first try at the claw machineāand we all screamed like it was the Super Bowl.

Roller Rinks with Loud Music & Sticky Floors

It was chaosāblaring music, neon lights, & kids everywhere. You didnāt have to skate wellājust staying upright was enough. If Prince or Madonna played, the place came alive.
Board Games with Missing Pieces & Made-Up Rules

Jingles That Still Live in Your Brain (Rent-Free)

You canāt remember where you left your keysābut you remember every word of the āMy Buddyā jingle. Or the Crocker Spaniel one. They were cheesy, catchy & impossible to forget.
Denim Jackets

You didnāt buy them rippedāthey got that way from real life. Fence climbs, bike falls, patches from concerts. It aged with you, & that made it cooler than anything you could buy new.
