While most famous for his role on Dawson’s Creek as Dawson Leery, James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly welcomed six children into their lives: Olivia, Joshua, Annabel, Emilia, Gwendolyn and Jeremiah.
James Van Der Beek moved his family from Los Angeles to Texas, saying they wanted their children to be able to grow up around more nature. He regularly posted about his kids on social media and talked about how much he loved being a father.
James Van Der Beek died on February 20, 2026, at 48, after a battle with colorectal cancer. And his wife and their six children are left to cherish his memory.
Lauryn Hill
Award-winning singer Lauryn Hill, best known as a former member of the group Fugees, is a mother to six children. Her children are Zion, Selah, Joshua, John, Sara and Micah.
